Mentorship Board & Internship

Internship

Students who opt to engage with EPICS towards obtaining an internship will gain hands-on experience and make real-world connections, often in major media hubs such as Beijing, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, São Paola, Seoul, Sydney, etc.  Internships are an optional component of our program and students are in charge of securing an internship that matches their interests, with guidance provided by our EPICS office.

Previous internships have included: Kartemquin Films; Lucy Walker; Logo Documentary Films; Viacom; Lauren Greenfield; Cynthia Wade Productions; SBS Broadcasting TV, (Australia); Vice (China); Studs Terkel Archive (WFMT); Zhao Liang Film Studio (Beijing); Seoul Broadcasting (South Korea); Ana Terra Athayde (Brazil).

Mentorship Board

During the second year of the program, students are paired with film industry professionals who are members of our Mentorship Board, who provide students with advice as they prepare for careers in the field of documentary media.
